Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a driven Regional Sales Manager for the dealer floorplan segment in the Buffalo, NY area. You will identify and win new business, underwrite opportunities, and work with Floorplan Directors and Territory Managers to hit volume targets.

You will manage relationships with dealers, perform credit analysis, and develop a scalable sales plan while using Salesforce for reporting and pipeline management.

Qualifications

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance required.
• 3 years of experience in Auto or Financial services.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Working knowledge of inventory finance software programs.
• Experience analyzing Automobile Dealer Financial statements, Tax returns, PFS and related documents.
• Salesforce CRM experience to manage sales pipeline.
• Knowledge of ACV Auctions products and services.
• Experience developing new territories in the Dealer Floorplan industry.
• Self-starter with organization and drive for large geographic coverage.
• Ability to perform initial underwriting of potential customers.

Responsibilities

• Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Develop and execute an aggressive sales plan within a defined market.
• Build prospect lists through cold calling, lead follow-up and referrals.
• Service accounts in person and via phone, resolving issues and identifying growth opportunities.
• Utilize Salesforce daily for reporting and tracking.
• Hit targets for new applications, signed contracts, and activations.
• Underwrite potential customers and manage risk.
• Develop strong relationships with Regional Managers, Territory Managers, and Inspectors.
• Collaborate with management to achieve net income targets and ROI goals.
• Ensure timely, compliant completion of transactions with proper documentation.
