Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a Dealer Floorplan Regional Sales Manager to develop new business in a defined territory. You will prospect, underwrite, and contract new opportunities while managing activations and inventory credit analyses.

You will work with Floorplan Directors and Territory Managers to achieve target volumes and maintain strong customer relationships. The role requires a 4-year degree in business/finance, 3 years in auto/financial services, strong English, and CRM proficiency

Qualifications

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - Business, Accounting, or Finance required.
• 3 years' experience in Auto or Financial services.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Working knowledge in inventory finance software programs.
• Experience analyzing Automobile Dealer Financial statements and Tax returns.
• Experience using a CRM (preferably Salesforce) to manage sales pipeline.
• Working knowledge of ACV Auctions products and services.
• Experience developing new territories in the Dealer Floorplan industry.
• Self-starter with drive and organizational skills for a large territory.
• Ability to conduct initial underwriting of potential customers.
• Knowledge of business accounting/financial statement concepts and processes.
• Ability to perform high level financial analysis using tax returns and financial statements.
• Knowledge of Sole Proprietorships, S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, LLCs.
• Strong knowledge of legal document prep for leases and loans.
• Ability to analyze UCC filings and collateral positioning.
• Ability to analyze variances and trends in key metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce; strong written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Develop and execute an aggressive sales plan within a defined market.
• Build prospect lists via cold calling, follow-up, and referrals.
• Service accounts during onboarding; resolve issues and seek incremental growth.
• Utilize Salesforce daily for reporting and tracking.
• Hit targets in new applications, contracts, and activations.
• Conduct initial underwriting of potential customers.
• Collaborate with Regional Managers and Territory Managers.
• Manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Communicate with management to resolve credit/audit issues.
• Ensure transactions meet compliance and documentation standards.
• Assist in defining ROI levels to meet net income targets.
• Identify and manage default risks and collect data for metrics.
