Job summary

EY is seeking a Deal Architect in the Strategic Pricing & Insights Group within Pursuits & Commercial Excellence. You will lead financial, commercial, and competitive strategy for EY’s most strategic opportunities and help shape, negotiate, and close new business by integrating competitive intelligence, client requirements, internal cost to serve estimates, and pricing methodologies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in professional services, pricing and commercials, strategy consulting, solution architecture or contract management.
• Expert proficiency in financial modelling, accounting, budgeting, and metrics.
• Proven track record designing, modelling and structuring deals using various pricing strategies across consulting and managed services.
• Strong pursuit management, relationship management, executive presence and influencing skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving pursuit environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Ability to use generative AI tools as thought partners to accelerate research and decision support.
• University/Bachelor’s Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine offer design, pricing approach, and commercial strategy to improve competitiveness and win probability.
• Assess price points against market benchmarks, client value drivers, and competitor positioning.
• Use competitive intelligence to challenge solution design and improve client and EY value.
• Design commercial structures aligned with client value drivers while ensuring EY returns.
• Translate complex commercial and financial considerations into a clear narrative for executives.
