Job summary

EY seeks a Deal Architect to lead financial, commercial, and competitive strategy for its most strategic opportunities. You will shape pricing, cost-to-serve, and negotiation approaches, guiding teams to build a compelling business case that differentiates EY.

You’ll work across EY’s Markets and Business Development, collaborating with stakeholders to maximize margins while mitigating risk in complex pursuits. This role requires strong communication and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in professional services, pricing and commercials, strategy consulting, or related fields.
• Expert proficiency in financial modelling, accounting, budgeting, and metrics.
• Proven track record designing and structuring deals across consulting and managed services.
• Strong pursuit management, relationship management, executive presence and influencing skills.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving pursuit environments and communicate effectively.
• Ability to use generative AI tools as thought partners to accelerate reasoning and analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA and professional certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial, commercial, and competitive strategy for EY opportunities.
• Shape, negotiate, and close new business by integrating client needs with EY offers.
• Develop competitive pricing strategy and EY cost-to-serve models.
• Translate complex commercial risk into a compelling narrative for executives.
• Contribute to client materials and support negotiation prep.
