Job summary

EY seeks a Deal Architect within its Strategic Pricing & Insights group to lead financial and commercial strategy for our most strategic opportunities. You’ll shape pricing approaches, negotiate terms, and guide teams in creating compelling business cases that maximize margins and EY value.

The role requires expertise in financial modelling, market benchmarking, and complex deal structuring, with a track record of working in professional services and a strong executive presence.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in professional services, pricing and commercials, strategy consulting.
• Expert proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and associated metrics.
• Proven track record designing, modelling and structuring deals across consulting and managed services.
• Ability to use generative AI tools as thought partners to accelerate research, analysis, financial and commercial reasoning.
• University / Bachelor’s Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the offer design, pricing approach, and commercial strategy.
• Assess EY’s proposed price points against market benchmarks and client value drivers.
• Use competitive intelligence to challenge the solution design and improve client EY value.
• Design commercial structures aligned to the client’s value drivers and EY’s risk profile.
• Translate complex commercial/financial considerations into a compelling executive narrative.
• Contribute to client-facing financial and commercial materials and negotiation prep.
