Job summary

EY is seeking a Deal Architect to lead the financial, commercial, and competitive strategy for EY's most strategic opportunities. You will shape and close new business by integrating competitive intelligence, client needs, and EY cost-to-serve estimates.

You will guide teams in developing compelling business cases, establish EY cost-to-serve, and optimize margins while mitigating risks. This role requires strong leadership in a matrixed environment and a commitment to exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Excellent financial modelling and budgeting skills.
• Experience designing and modelling deals with various pricing approaches.
• Strong pursuit management and executive communication.
• Ability to use generative AI as a decision-support partner.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and refine offer design, pricing approach, and commercial strategy to improve competitiveness and win probability.
• Assess proposed price points against market benchmarks and client value drivers.
• Challenge solution design to strengthen differentiation and client value.
• Design commercial structures aligned to client value while ensuring EY returns.
• Translate complex commercial and risk considerations into a narrative for executives.
