Job summary

EY is seeking a Deal Architect in the United States to lead the financial, commercial, and competitive strategy for EY's most strategic opportunities. You will shape and negotiate deals, drawing on competitive intelligence, client requirements, and EY cost-to-serve models to maximize margins and differentiate EY’s offer.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in professional services, pricing and commercials, or related fields.
• Expert proficiency in financial modelling, accounting, budgeting and metrics.
• Proven track record designing and modelling deals with various pricing strategies.
• Strong pursuit management, relationship management and executive presence.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving pursuit environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use generative AI tools as thought partners to accelerate analysis.

Responsibilities

• Position: help develop, test, and refine offer design, pricing approach, and commercial strategy.
• Price: assess EY’s proposed price points against market benchmarks and client value drivers.
• Solution: use competitive intelligence to strengthen differentiation and client value.
• Commercial Structures: design structures aligned to client value while ensuring EY returns.
• Governance: drive opportunities through EY governance, translating complex considerations for executives.
