Job summary

EY invites a Deal Architect to lead the financial, commercial, and competitive strategy for our most strategic opportunities within the Strategic Pricing & Insights group. You will shape, negotiate, and close new business by integrating client requirements, EY costs to serve, pricing models, and risk-aware structures.

You will guide pursuit teams across offer design, pricing, solutions, and governance, translating complex data into compelling buy decisions for executives while driving margins

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in professional services, pricing and commercials, strategy consulting, solution architecture or commercial and contract management.
• Expert proficiency in financial modelling, accounting, budgeting, and associated metrics.
• Proven track record designing, modelling and structuring deals using various pricing strategies across consulting and managed services.
• Strong pursuit management, relationship management, executive presence and influencing skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving, complex pursuit environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Ability to use generative AI tools as thought partners to accelerate research and decision support.
• University/Bachelor’s Degree

Responsibilities

• Position: Help develop, test, and refine the offer design, pricing approach, and commercial strategy to improve competitiveness and win probability.
• Price: Assess EY’s proposed price points against market benchmarks, client value drivers, and likely competitor positioning.
• Solution: Use competitive intelligence and market insights to challenge the solution design and differentiation.
• Commercial Structures: Design structures aligned to client value drivers while ensuring EY’s risk-adjusted returns.
• Governance: Drive opportunities through EY’s governance framework with clear executive narratives.
