Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a DC Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations at our distribution center. You will supervise shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, picking, and palletizing activities to meet distribution goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the warehouse and operations managers, monitoring attendance and productivity, maintaining equipment and safety standards, and generating records and reports. A Associate Degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of warehouse or distribution center experience required.
• Experience with material handling, inventory tracking, and directing teammates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse staff schedules across shipping, receiving, loading and palletizing.
• Determine storage space needs and schedule delivery/distribution to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles in compliance with laws; enforce safety rules and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Monitor attendance and productivity; provide coaching as required.
• Coordinate with warehouse/operations managers on shipments and cut-offs.
• Maintain records such as lost sales, error reports, and production reports.
• Recommend process changes to improve unit efficiency.
