Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. seeks a DC Supervisor to manage daily warehouse activities at the distribution center in the United States. You will direct shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, and palletizing operations to meet shipping schedules and customer requirements.

The role requires 1–3 years of warehousing experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and the ability to supervise and coach staff while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years prior work experience in a warehouse field.
• Experience in warehouse or distribution centers including material handling and inventory.
• Associate Degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily schedules of warehouse staff handling shipping, receiving, loading, and palletizing.
• Determines storage space requirements and coordinates delivery and distribution to meet objectives.
• Maintains equipment and company vehicles; enforces safety rules and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Monitors attendance, productivity, and other performance metrics; provides counseling as required.
• Coordinates with warehouse manager, sales and other supervisors on shipments and cut-off times.
• Maintains records such as lost sales, errors, and production reports.
• Recommends changes in procedures to improve operating efficiency of the unit.
