Job summary

The Home Depot in Illinois is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and influence distribution center operations to run safely and productively. You will manage 20 to 30 hourly associates, handle hiring, development, performance, and discipline under the direction of the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate merchandise handling, coaching staff to improve productivity and safety, and monitoring key metrics to align with the business plan.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Ability to relocate
• Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Manage 45%: ensure procedures followed and optimize processes.
• Coach and develop 25% of associates; hire, evaluate and discipline as needed.
• Drive results: monitor inventory accuracy and key performance metrics.
• Plan business needs: coordinate staffing to meet production plans.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
