Job summary

The Home Depot in the DC area is seeking a Supervisor to lead an hourly team and influence the distribution center to operate efficiently, safely and productively. You will manage hiring, evaluation, development, discipline and performance of 20-30 associates.

This role emphasizes adherence to procedures, coaching and developing staff, inventory accuracy and planning to meet business goals. Travel is minimal and shifts may vary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age or older.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and relocate.

Responsibilities

• 45% Managing Process: ensure operations procedures are followed and suggest changes to improve standard processes.
• 25% Coaching and Developing Associates: train, coach, evaluate, and handle associate relations and discipline as needed.
• 15% Drives Results: maintain inventory accuracy and monitor metrics for productivity, accuracy, quality and costs.
• 15% Business Planning: coordinate operations to meet performance targets and plan staffing.
