Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead a team of 20–30 hourly associates in a fast-paced distribution center environment in Ohio. You will oversee hiring, evaluation, development, and disciplinary actions while ensuring safe, efficient handling of merchandise and achievement of team goals.

Responsibilities include coaching, optimizing processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating staffing to meet business plans.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Ability to relocate
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; computer skills in Microsoft Office; experience with Warehouse Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop hourly associates; hiring, evaluation, development, discipline and termination.
• Ensure operations procedures are followed and identify improvements to processes.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control; review reports for productivity, accuracy, quality and expenses.
• Coordinate and monitor operations to align with business plan and staffing needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Manager, Assistant General Manager or General Manager.
