Job summary

SanMar is hiring a DC Trainer to deliver classroom and on-the-job training for Distribution Center employees. You will train new hires and retrain current staff to improve processes and productivity, aligning goals with company strategies and distribution targets.

The role involves coordinating training schedules, maintaining training records, and teaching safety and operational procedures across the warehouse. A strong background in warehouse operations and effective communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4–6 years warehouse experience.
• Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and adjust priorities as needed.
• Ability to understand technical data, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs to new and existing employees.
• Assist with development of training materials and maintain training documents.
• Coordinate training schedule with DC needs.
• Communicate with leadership to execute training effectively.
• Conduct training sessions on OJT and refresher topics.
• Assist with safety training and trainee record maintenance.
• Support warehouse operations as needed.
• May operate powered lift equipment and handle related safety procedures.
