Job Title: DC Trainer
As a DC Trainer, you will lead training, coaching, and performance improvement for associates in distribution center operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one‑on‑one training with new hires on receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, and replenishment processes, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP) and completion of required training paperwork.
- Work with management, leads, and quality assurance to provide ongoing one‑on‑one coaching and continuous training to current associates.
- Observe associates to confirm adherence to SOP and assess the effectiveness of training programs.
- Act as a mentor to new hires and current associates, supporting their development and performance.
- Enforce new policies and procedures as they are implemented.
- Maintain a safe work environment; report potential hazards and practice good housekeeping.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preference for prior distribution/warehouse experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changes and interruptions.
- Ability to work with limited supervision. Requires 1–2 years of directly related experience or 3 years of related experience.
- Strong leadership experience.
- Ability to identify training gaps in associates.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish/French/etc. is a plus.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
The work environment involves everyday risks associated with warehouse operations, including loading/receiving docks, high‑volume inventory management, forklift and pallet jack use, and near‑continuous movement. Exposures to occasional fumes, odors, and temperature fluctuations (25–105°F) are possible. The position requires repetitive lifting of cartons weighing 10–55 lbs, standing and walking for 6–12 hours daily, and climbing stairs and ladders.
