SanMar is seeking a DC Trainer to lead classroom and on-the-job training for Distribution Center staff. You will align training with company plans, drive productivity, and develop new-hire and incumbent skills.

The role offers hands-on training, safety instruction, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Expect shift-specific responsibilities and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4–6 years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels and SKUs.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical data and safety rules.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; detail-oriented.
• May be required to complete Lift Operator Certification every three years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs to new and existing employees.
• Assist with the development of training materials and maintain training documents.
• Coordinate training schedule with distribution center demands.
• Communicate daily with leadership and coworkers to execute training efforts.
• Conduct training sessions covering on-the-job and refresher training.
• Assist employees with tasks and problems related to distribution roles.
• Assist with safety training.
• Ensure trainee records are maintained.
• Educate and reinforce company procedures and policies.
• Support in all warehouse areas as needed.
• May operate powered lift equipment.
• Check out and return equipment in good condition.
