Job summary

SanMar Corp. in Avondale, AZ is hiring a DC Trainer to deliver classroom training and on-the-job training (OJT) to Distribution Center staff. You will align training with operational goals and support new hires and current teammates to improve processes and productivity.

You should have a high school diploma and 4-6 years of warehouse experience, plus strong reading, writing, and communication skills. The role may require operating lift equipment and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs to new and existing employees.
• Assist with development of training materials and maintain training documents.
• Coordinate training schedule with DC demands.
• Communicate with leadership to execute training efficiently.
• Conduct training sessions including OJT and refresher training.
• Assist employees with how-to tasks and safety training.
• Maintain trainee personnel records and company procedures.
