Job summary

SanMar in Avondale, AZ seeks a DC Trainer to lead classroom and on-the-job training for Distribution Center staff. You will align training goals with strategic plans, ensure accurate records, and support safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities include delivering programs for new hires and current employees, developing training materials, and coordinating schedules with DC demand. The role may involve lifting and operating powered equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical data, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Must have strong written and spoken communication and the capacity to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs to new and existing employees.
• Assist with development and maintenance of training materials.
• Coordinate training schedules with DC demands.
• Communicate with leadership to execute training efforts accurately.
• Conduct training sessions including OJT and refresher courses.
• Assist employees with how-to tasks and safety training.
• Maintain trainee records and educate on company policies.
• Support warehouse operations and may operate powered lift equipment.
