Job summary

SanMar is seeking a DC Trainer to facilitate classroom training and on-the-job training for Distribution Center staff in Avondale, AZ. You will teach new hires and retrain existing employees to align with company goals and productivity targets.

The role requires warehouse experience, strong reading/writing skills, color/size identification, and the ability to follow directions while adapting to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs to new and existing employees.
• Assist with development of training materials and maintain records.
• Coordinate training schedule with distribution center needs.
• Communicate with leadership to execute training efforts.
• Conduct training sessions on-the-job and refresher trainings.
