Job summary

Strategic Talent Partners seeks a DC Power Sales Manager to drive new business and manage key accounts in Utility, Telecom and Data Center sectors. You will develop relationships, present products, and grow revenue with a focus on DC power systems.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree or equivalent required.
• 5 years of proven experience in a Sales Manager role preferred.
• Travel as necessary up to 35% in Territory.

Responsibilities

• Prospect leads and new business relationships with Utility and key Telecom End-users, key Electrical Engineers, and Electrical Contractors for purpose of developing, maintaining, and/or improving revenue and gross margin
• Develop business relationships with key supplier personnel to ensure products and services are manufactured and delivered as required by customers
• Deliver effective presentations on new products to existing and new customers both virtually and in person
• Hand off quotation opportunities to DC Power Inside Sales Specialist
• Provide back-up to DC Power Inside Sales Specialist for quotations and order review during PTO or peak periods
• Be the escalation point for the DC Power Inside Sales Specialist on major product and service related issues, driving resolution with customers and manufacturers
• Strong emphasis on proactive communication with Director of Sales, DC Power, informing them of any important developments with vendors or customers
• Assist to accurately forecast expected sales on a monthly basis
• Involve Director of Sales in customer visits when practical
• Maintain excellent records, manage receipts and expense reports, and submit to accounting department on a monthly basis
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
