Job summary

Ash Battery Systems in Omaha, NE is seeking a DC Power Sales Manager to develop new business and manage key accounts in Utility, Telecom and Data Center sectors. You will build relationships, present new products, and coordinate with inside sales to quote opportunities.

The role requires broad knowledge of Batteries, DC power solutions, and related applications, plus strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree or equivalent; technical degree preferred but not required
• 5 years of proven experience in a Sales Manager role preferred
• Travel up to 35% in Territory

Responsibilities

• Prospect leads and new business relationships with Utility and key Telecom End-users, key Electrical Engineers, and Electrical Contractors for purpose of developing, maintaining, and/or improving revenue and gross margin
• Develop business relationships with key supplier personnel to ensure products and services are manufactured and delivered as required by customers
• Deliver effective presentations on new products to existing and new customers both virtually and in person
• Hand off quotation opportunities to DC Power Inside Sales Specialist
• Provide back-up to DC Power Inside Sales Specialist for quotations and order review during PTO or peak periods
• Be the escalation point for the DC Power Inside Sales Specialist on major product and service related issues, driving resolution with customers and manufacturers
• Strong emphasis on proactive communication with Director of Sales, DC Power , informing them of any important developments with vendors or customers
• Assist to accurately forecast expected sales on a monthly basis
• Involve Director of Sales in customer visits when practical
• Maintain excellent records, manage receipts and expense reports, and submit to accounting department on a monthly basis
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
