The supervisor will optimize truck yard operations, supervision of warehouse staff, and adherence to budget and safety standards while mentoring teammates toward operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in a distribution center or similar environment.
• Must meet safety and distribution center safety requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions with good judgment.
• Basic computer literacy required; forklift and pallet jack certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise outbound operations and lead team in pulling and shipping.
• Design and maintain efficient yard, trailer, and loading processes.
• Ensure adherence to safety and security rules and regulations.
• Monitor budget considerations and drive cost-saving improvements.
• Provide leadership to warehouse staff and foster engagement.
• Resolve shipping errors with teams to prevent recurrence.
• Schedule hours for peak periods and optimize coverage.
• Protect assets and ensure proper receipts and loading accuracy.
• Lead processing of outbound orders and related tasks.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reduction.
• Mentor teams and drive problem-solving and decision-making.
• Oversee nightly reconciliation of truck loads and loading protocols.
• Develop and implement shuttle/order loading protocols.
• Ensure compliance with factory return guidelines.
