Genuine Parts Company is seeking an Outbound Operations Supervisor to lead the outbound team in pulling, packing, sorting and loading processes. The role reports to the Outbound Operations Manager and focuses on safe, high-quality, timely execution while fostering engagement and problem-solving across teammates.

The supervisor will design efficient methods, oversee truck yard organization, and maintain safety protocols.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year in a distribution center or similar.
• Ability to comply with safety requirements in DC environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions with good judgment.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 60 lbs.
• Must be forklift and pallet jack certified.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise outbound operations by directing how work is performed, monitoring progress and troubleshooting.
• Design and maintain organized truck yard operations for efficient trailer handling, housekeeping, and safety.
• Ensure adherence to safety rules and secure loading procedures for outbound shipments.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements to save costs.
• Lead warehouse associates, promote engagement, and empower problem-solving.
• Investigate and resolve shipping errors with DC management to prevent recurrence.
• Schedule team hours to cover peak periods and optimize efficiency.
• Protect assets by ensuring proper use and nightly security of equipment/buildings.
• Lead efficient processing of outbound orders, cross/docks, stock, special orders, UPS, Will Call.
