Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team in a fast-paced distribution center. You will oversee recruiting, coaching, evaluations, and the termination of hourly staff while driving performance and safety.

Responsibilities include ensuring efficient merchandise handling, planning staffing, improving processes, and maintaining inventory accuracy to meet business goals. This role reports to the Operations Manager and requires relocation flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience leading hourly teams or shift supervision preferred.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 20–30 hourly associates, manage daily operations.
• Coach and develop associates, conduct evaluations and handle discipline.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, control costs, and optimize productivity.
• Help plan staffing and coordinate with Operations Manager on goals.
