Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and drive the distribution center to run safely, efficiently, and productively. You will oversee hiring, evaluation, development, discipline and termination of hourly associates and manage 20 to 30 staff.

You will monitor inventory accuracy, implement process improvements, train staff, and coordinate with Operations Manager to align with business plans. Overnight travel is possible.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Ability to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly team to run the distribution center safely and efficiently.
• Hire, evaluate, develop, discipline, and terminate hourly associates.
• Ensure prompt, efficient, and accurate merchandise handling and stock management.
• Develop and implement team goals and monitor performance metrics.
• Supervise 20–30 hourly associates and coordinate with Operations Manager.
