Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Assistant General Manager to lead a large distribution center operations team (inbound, warehouse, outbound, and office) in the Boston area. You will work with the General Manager to set objectives, maximize productivity, and optimize cost-to-serve while ensuring a safe, efficient workplace.

You will supervise multiple DC Operations Managers, coordinate with stores, vendors, and functional groups, and coach leaders to build an engaged, safety-focused environment

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in evaluating methods, staffing, and processes to improve movement and efficiency.
• Guide cost-to-serve improvements by leading teams and coordinating with 3PL when applicable.
• Drive operational excellence across warehouse areas and WMS usage for accurate inbound/outbound processing.
• Coach and develop the management team through on-floor coaching and formal evaluations.
• Maintain a safety-focused culture by enforcing policy and monitoring safety metrics daily.
