Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly distribution team and drive safe, productive operations in a fast-paced DC environment. You will manage 20–30 associates, hire and develop staff, and ensure accurate merchandise handling and continuous improvement of processes.

You will collaborate with the Operations Manager and leadership to meet daily targets, coach for performance, and uphold safety and quality standards across the distribution center.

Qualifications

• Must be able to manage and develop a team of hourly associates.
• Experience with process improvement and standard operating procedures.
• Strong communication and coaching skills to drive safety, productivity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead 20–30 hourly associates; hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate as needed.
• Ensure adherence to operations procedures, identify and implement process improvements.
• Manage inventory accuracy, cost control, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager to align staffing with business needs.
