Job summary

SanMar is seeking a DC Supervisor in Avondale, AZ. Shift is 12:30pm - 9:00pm. Starting salary is $67,054 with opportunities for performance bonuses and growth within a dynamic distribution center.

The role oversees receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping to ensure smooth, accurate operations. You will coach hourly staff, perform annual appraisals, and hire new teammates while collaborating across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4–6 years of warehouse experience.
• 1–3 years as a lead or supervisor.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information and verbally communicate with customers.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and coordinate daily activities to achieve productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and knowledge goals.
• Oversee all DC operations to ensure accurate and timely processing and delivery.
• Provide day-to-day direction and development to hourly staff, including coaching and corrective actions.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals and provide ongoing feedback.
• Interview and hire new employees.
• Collaborate across departments to drive optimal productivity.
• Analyze business and performance trends to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
• Foster an environment where diverse backgrounds are respected and valued.
• Respond to employee needs professionally and respectfully; manage difficult situations.
