Job summary

SanMar is hiring a Shipping Clerk in Avondale, AZ. The role involves verifying and logging shipments, invoicing, tagging, and loading orders, including PSST and R&L, while ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

You will interact with customers and internal departments, load equipment safely, and may operate powered lift equipment with certification every three years. Strong attention to detail and RF system use are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Ability to read, write, identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels and SKUs.
• Basic math skills; counting and quantity.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Lift Operator Certification may be required every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Invoice, tag and load shipments accurately and timely.
• Verify orders and charges for invoicing and loading.
• Create parcel or freight invoices with accurate shipping charges.
• Respond to inquiries by phone or email.
• Manually load pallets and operate RF unit.
• Use Internal Operating System to verify shipping details.
