Job summary

Genuine Parts Company (GPC) seeks a Senior Manager, Process Engineering to lead site engineers across multiple automated distribution centers. You will own strategy for process engineering, continuous improvement, and optimization of automation, material flow, labor, and warehouse processes.

You will develop capacity and cost models, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive KPIs while ensuring safety and compliance. Travel up to 40% may be required in a multi-site network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of Industrial engineering experience (Distribution or Fulfillment).
• 3+ years experience leading and managing a team.
• Experience developing engineered labor standards (MTM, MOST, Time Studies, etc.)
• Strong communication skills, proven leadership and project management experience.
• Solid understanding of WMS, WCS, WES and RMS architectures and interactions within an automated DC
• Working knowledge of data analytics to make decisions and drive results.
• Working knowledge of lean principles and applying them to day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Process/Industrial engineers and facilities professionals across multiple locations.
• Own the process engineering strategy and continuous improvement for automated warehouse operations.
• Lead and support optimization of automation, material flow, labor, and warehouse processes.
• Develop capacity, throughput, labor, productivity, and cost models to support decisions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve end-to-end performance at sites.
• Establish, manage, and improve engineering and operational KPIs.
• Ensure facilities and warehouse equipment is maintained and meets safety and regulatory requirements.
• Manage external vendors, contractors, integrators, and business partners.
• Drive standardization and One Best Way deployment across the network.
