Job summary

adidas is seeking a Operations Excellence professional to drive the adidas Operations Excellence framework within the distribution center. You will coach the DC leadership through lean concepts, identify opportunities, and secure resources to deliver improvements on the shop floor.

You will train, coach, and mentor teams in LEAN/CI tools, lead improvement projects, and ensure sustainable adoption of global standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience applying LEAN/CI concepts.
• Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills at all levels.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team.
• Computer skills: MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio/Signavio, Copilot, Smartsheet.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Adopt lean principles and adidas Operation Excellence framework.
• Ensure key lean principles in DC: visual management, 6S, gemba, etc.
• Support implementation on site and customize global tools.
• Train and coach DC leadership on CI tools and routines.
• Conduct internal gemba and audits to monitor progress.
• Identify improvement opportunities with area leads (VSM, CIP).
• Act as SPOC for CI topics in area of responsibility.
• Drive Site Improvement Plan with annual action plan and resources.
• Lead CI projects and prepare business cases for demand process.
• Track impact of improvement initiatives.
• Share best practices and standardize processes.
