Job summary

adidas is seeking an operations leader for an hourly role to support the distribution center's shift performance. You will lead a team of up to 50 associates, coach for success, and ensure adherence to SOPs while maintaining a safe, collaborative work environment.

The role emphasizes problem solving, workflow monitoring, and driving continuous improvement using RF Guns and WMS tools to log activities and updates in LM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years related distribution experience.
• Must speak, read, write and comprehend English.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of DC operations and material flow.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with supervisor to lead a team of up to 50 hourly associates
• Understand and act as a role model in following all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Develop and maintain a safe work environment
• Ability to reward and recognize performance
• Train and coach associates to achieve all operational goals and service levels
• Mentor and develop teammates to perform better in their current roles while preparing them for future career opportunities
• Ability to develop and share best practices
• Createa positive team environment that encourages all associates to provide insights and feedback to improve processes, adapt to an ever-changing business, and stay focused on customer satisfaction
• Utilize warehouse tools, including radio frequency hand held units ("RF Guns") and computer kiosks, to update transactions within the warehouse management system (WMS) and log activities in the labor management (LM) module
