Job summary

DHL Germany is seeking a seasoned Operations Excellence/Continuous Improvement professional to drive OMS & CI implementations across site functions. The role focuses on process improvement, training and coaching to enhance productivity, throughput and quality within the operation.

Candidates should have extensive Lean Transformation and operations experience, with a proven ability to lead complex CI initiatives and deliver measurable value to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Management experience.
• 5+ years of large-scale Lean Transformation experience.
• 5+ years of Logistics industry experience.
• 5+ years of Operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical problem-solving framework and solution design support on projects.
• Interpret data and derive solid conclusions from statistical analysis.
• Develop current and future state process flows to improve operations.
• Create presentations to illustrate project scope, cost-benefit analysis, and recommendations.
• Inspire teams to engage in continuous improvement workshops with proper tools.
• Lead troubleshooting for high-complexity problems.
• Manage site Diagnostics activities and reporting.
• Prepare and present metrics to associates and operations leadership.
• Oversee project management for new improvements and initiatives.
• Identify and deliver consistent CI opportunities across site with standard tracking.
• Collaborate with OMS Transformation Champions and Site Leadership.
• Provide regular VSM progress updates and improvement activity.
• Equip Value Stream Map participants with CI knowledge and tools.
• Facilitate multiple workshops concurrently.
• Coach Operations Process Leaders on progress reviews for CIM projects.
• Ensure OMS Transformation and CI deployment schedules are followed.
• Align OMS activities with company objectives and value creation.
• Document Operations Management System implementations and improvements.
• Address ISO/regulatory requirements for the site.
• Educate and support leadership teams in CIM competencies.
• Champion best practice sharing during OMS/CI deployments.
