Job summary

Ntiva, Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to manage IT operations and provide on-site day-to-day field support for a DC-based client. You will deliver scheduled onsite support, address recurring and ad hoc issues, and drive continuous improvement through project involvement and documentation.

The role involves on-site work in the Washington, DC area with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote per week. Strong MS 365, MFA, Intune/Autopilot, and leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT operations, service delivery, or a similar field.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration: Exchange Online, Entra ID, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
• Identity and access management: MFA, Conditional Access, Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Windows endpoint support: OS imaging and standard builds.
• Endpoint management: Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
• Networking fundamentals: VPN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP.
• Ability to manage operational reviews, KPI tracking, and reporting.
• Documentation and process improvement: SOPs and knowledge bases.
• Excellent communications skills; able to explain tech to non-technical staff.
• Leadership experience in an IT capacity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily onsite appointments to provide end user support and maintain client IT infrastructure.
• Provide hands-on user support and triage during onsite visits.
• Resolve Outlook/Teams/M365 issues in person; handle password resets and MFA enrollment onsite.
• Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, and conference room AV hardware.
• Perform device setup, user migration, and standard workstation imaging.
• Onsite client onboarding and offboarding support; coordinate with remote staff.
• Troubleshoot and resolve outages; coordinate with remote support teams.
• Maintain server room equipment documentation and remediation plans.
• Maintain endpoint and infrastructure standards; audit compliance; update documentation.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives; draft changes and communicate with Ntiva teams.
