Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking a part-time Desktop Support Technician to assist staff with technical support for Windows desktops, servers, network, storage, and related equipment at the distribution center.

You will document resolutions in ServiceNow, communicate with end users, and coordinate with IT teams and vendors. This role requires equipment setup, testing, and uptime maintenance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Windows XP/Windows 7 hardware and software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic clerical skills including typing.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and troubleshoot equipment at the distribution center.
• Document issue resolution using ServiceNow ticketing system.
• Provide timely updates and resolution information to end users and IT teams.
• Collaborate with Distribution Center Technicians and vendors as needed.
• Serve as primary DC IT contact and support staff.
