Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an HR leader to oversee talent acquisition, talent management, associate relations, development, and engagement in the Distribution Center. You will partner with DC leadership, regional teams, and store partners to drive HR programs and ensure an outstanding associate experience.

Responsibilities include staffing, policy communication, and maintaining Open Door practices while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• B.S. degree in Business, HR Management, Psychology preferred.
• If no degree at least 3 years of progressive HR Generalist experience required.
• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HR initiatives/processes are executed timely and with high quality within the DC.
• Facilitate staffing responsibilities of the DC, in partnership with DC Management team, including recruiting, reporting and system requirements.
• Protect and maintain Home Depot's direct employer/associate relationship in the DC with education and policy communication.
• Assure excellent associate relations practices in the DC by ensuring issues are resolved quickly with fair treatment.
• Understand and enforce employment laws (EEO, Wage & Hour, Labor, ADA, FMLA) and document investigations.
• Develop, implement and deliver knowledge management and learning programs for hourly associates; support leadership development.
• Work with RHRM and peers on project management and supply chain initiatives.
• Understand Home Depot's business and how HR supports business goals.
