Job summary

Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team in a fast-paced distribution center in Florida. You will supervise 20–30 hourly associates, ensure prompt, accurate merchandise handling, and develop team goals in coordination with the Operations Manager.

The role involves hiring, evaluating, development, discipline, and terminations of staff, and managing productivity, safety, and quality while maintaining inventory accuracy and driving key performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Ability to relocate.
• Bachelor's degree preferred is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing Process: Ensures operations procedures are followed and identifies changes to standard processes.
• Coaching and Developing Associates: Train, coach, and evaluate hourly staff; handle hiring, discipline and terminations as needed.
• Drives Results: Maintain inventory accuracy and drive key metrics (productivity, accuracy, quality, expenses).
• Business Planning: Align staffing and operations with the business plan and review reports for optimization.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Manager or General Manager.
