Job summary

The Home Depot in Valdosta, GA is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly distribution team, drive efficiency and ensure safe, accurate handling of merchandise. You will hire, coach, evaluate and, when needed, terminate hourly associates under your supervision.

You will monitor key metrics, plan staffing, and coordinate with operations leadership to meet business goals and maintain inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• Has 3+ years supervisory experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office.
• Must be eighteen years or older and legally permitted to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead an hourly team of 20 to 30 associates to run a DC efficiently, safely and productively.
• Hire, evaluate, develop, discipline and terminate hourly associates as needed.
• Monitor and improve productivity, safety, service and quality through coaching and data-driven reviews.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and control; analyze reports to improve KPIs (productivity, accuracy, quality, costs).
• Plan staffing to meet production rates in line with business plan.
