Job summary

HomeGrown is a daytime eatery in Northwest Arkansas seeking a Prep Cook to support our Kitchen Team. You will handle assigned prep work and maintain high standards for product presentation, quality, and cook times, learning to prepare all menu items per our recipes.

As a scratch kitchen, Prep Cooks are central to every dish, ensuring consistency and quality. This role offers early shifts with a 3:30 pm finish and benefits for full-time team members.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow recipes exactly as written.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work fast, safe, efficient and accurately for long shifts.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Ability to transport cases up to 50 pounds multiple times daily.
• Ability to respond to emergencies to avoid hazards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assigned prep work and work your station.
• Learn to prepare all menu items according to HomeGrown's recipes and specifications.
• Work in and be cross-trained across kitchen departments.
