HomeGrown, part of Thrive Restaurant Group, is a daytime eatery in Northwest Arkansas seeking a Prep Cook. You will handle assigned prep work and support the kitchen team, ensuring high quality, consistent dishes with efficient cook times and presentation.

Team members enjoy pay parity with other restaurant gigs, plus full-time benefits and an early finish by 3:30 pm. The role emphasizes kindness, teamwork and personal development in a scratch kitchen.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
• Able to read, write and verbal communicate effectively.
• Follow recipes exactly as written.
• Work fast, safe, and accurate for up to 10 hours per day.
• Capable of using knives and other food preparation equipment.
• Mobility to move around the kitchen and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned prep work (70%).
• Set up workstation (5%).
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times (10%).
• Prepare menu items according to recipes and specifications.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects.
