HomeGrown, a daytime eatery, is seeking a Prep Cook to join our scratch kitchen and be the heart of every dish. You’ll learn recipes, maintain high standards for product quality and presentation, and work across kitchen stations to keep service smooth and timely.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to follow recipes exactly as written.
• Ability to work fast, safe, efficient, and accurately for periods of up to 10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned prep work (70%).
• Set up workstation (5%).
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times (10%).
• Prepare menu items according to HomeGrown's recipes, plate presentations and specifications.
