HomeGrown, a daytime eatery, is seeking a Prep Cook to join the kitchen team. You’ll be responsible for a designated prep station and ensuring all items meet our recipes, quality standards and timelines. This scratch kitchen values kindness, teamwork and personal growth within a family atmosphere.

You’ll learn and contribute across kitchen roles, with a focus on producing consistent dishes and maintaining high standards of product presentation and safety, finishing work by 3:30 pm daily.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to follow recipes exactly as written.
• Capacity to work fast, safe and accurate for long shifts.

Responsabilités

• Complete all assigned prep work (70%).
• Set up workstation (5%).
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times (10%).
• Prepare menu items according to HomeGrown's recipes and specifications.
