Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Porter in West Palm Beach, FL, to perform cleaning and maintenance across indoor and outdoor areas. You will inspect work, report to the Supervisor, and handle duties like sweeping, mopping, dusting, and restocking supplies.

The role may involve weekends and requires a strong customer service orientation and teamwork. The position is full-time with benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, and a 401k match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning/maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, and window cleaning.
• Inform Supervisor of needed supplies and maintain safety procedures for chemicals.
• Complete daily work orders and ensure equipment is maintained in good working condition.
• Assist in restrooms cleaning and restocking dispensers.
• Maintain sanitary supplies and report discrepancies to Supervisor.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with building staff and security procedures.
