Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a full-time Porter to perform cleaning and maintenance across indoor and outdoor areas at Highland Beach, FL. The role supports building staff, inspects work, and reports issues to the supervisor while ensuring safety and security procedures are followed.

The position offers comprehensive benefits, paid holidays, and a 401(k) with company match. Hours are typically mornings, with some travel for training and functions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning/maintenance duties such as sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting and trash disposal.
• Informs Supervisor of needed supplies and maintains cleaning solutions per OSHA rules.
• Removes trash, assists in emergency cleaning, and uses new equipment safely.
• Maintains a friendly, professional attitude and proper sanitary levels.
• Completes daily work orders and inspects areas for discrepancies.
• Cleans restrooms as applicable and refills dispensers.
• Keeps assigned equipment in good condition and secure premises per security procedures.
