Job summary

FS Residential is seeking a Porter in West Palm Beach, FL to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks across indoor and outdoor spaces. The role involves inspecting areas, reporting issues, and maintaining cleaning supplies and safety procedures.

The position is full-time with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental and vision plans, paid holidays, and a 401(k) with company match. Some occasional travel for training may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Custodial experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning/maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning.
• Informs Supervisor of needed supplies.
• Maintains cleaning solutions in accordance with OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals.
• Removes trash and assists in emergency cleaning.
• Operates new equipment safely and follows procedures.
• Maintains friendly and professional attitude.
• Maintains sanitary supplies for assigned areas.
• Inspects all assigned areas daily and reports discrepancies to Supervisor.
• Ensures security procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Interacts with building staff and completes daily work orders.
• Cleans restrooms and refills dispensers; cleans toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors and counters.
