Responsibilities

• Participates in preparatory steps of surgery; prepares room and supplies.
• Assists surgeon by ensuring required supplies are ready pre-incision.
• Maintains sterile field and aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Setups and transports equipment, and reports any equipment issues.
• Supports training of Surgical Technologists and Assistants as needed.
• Performs validated competencies under direct supervision when required.
