Job summary

Advocate Health in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. This full-time role offers 10-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM with variable days off and on-call requirements, including one weeknight per week and one weekend every ninth.

No prior experience is required; completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program and BLS certification within 6 months are required. Emphasizes aseptic technique, patient safety, and teamwork with surgeons.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 6 months.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide clean, safe operating room setup and aseptic technique to support procedures.
• Assist surgeons, pass instruments, and maintain sterile field throughout cases.
• Prepare and position patients, transport equipment, and report issues promptly.
