Ocala Health ENT in Ocala, FL is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to coordinate surgical procedures and confirm all documentation, authorizations, equipment, and patient information prior to surgery. You will work closely with physicians, facility staff, and patients to ensure a seamless scheduling process.

Key duties include obtaining CPT/ICD-10 codes, determining OR time, verifying physician credentialing, and aligning provider schedules with facility operations while upholding HIPAA and HCA

Competenze

• High school degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• BLS may be required as per practice standard.
• No Travel Required.
• No experience Required Years of Experience.

Mansioni

• Obtains CPT and ICD-10 codes and other clinical information for treatment from practice staff.
• Determines OR time and coordinates with facility to schedule and arrange anesthesia.
• Verifies physician is credentialed at the center before scheduling the patient.
• Ensures efficient coordination of provider clinic and facility schedules with travel and meetings as needed.
• Adheres to HIPAA and applicable ethics and compliance policies.
