Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in a healthcare setting.
• 1+ year of technical experience (preferred).
• 1+ EHR scheduling experience (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patients for surgery and completes facility paperwork.
• Obtains scheduling, demographic, insurance, and clinical information.
• Schedules surgeries with physicians and staff and coordinates add-on cases.
• Responds to inquiries about scheduling and maintains the schedule.
• Maintains hospital schedules and assists with staff orientation as needed.
