HCA Florida Advanced Cardiothoracic Surgery is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to support operating room scheduling, coding, and coordination with practice staff. The role ensures proper CPT/ICD-10 coding, determines OR time, coordinates anesthesia, and confirms credentialing.

This full-time, weekday position emphasizes patient flow, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with clinicians and facilities. A high school diploma is preferred, with 1 year of medical office experience preferred.

Competenze

• 1 year of medical office experience preferred
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding
• Ability to coordinate OR schedules and anesthesia coverage

Mansioni

• Obtains CPT and ICD-10 codes and other clinical information for treatment from practice staff.
• Determines OR time needed and coordinates with facility for scheduling.
• Verifies physician credentialing at the Center or Facility before scheduling.
• Ensures efficient coordination of provider clinic and facility schedules and supports HIPAA compliance.
